The Mercusys MU6H receives Wi-Fi signals in two separate bands. 256QAM support increases the 2.4 GHz data rate from 150 Mbps to 200 Mbps, giving 33% faster performance. Speeds of 200 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band are ideal for normal use, such as browsing the web with older devices. Speeds of 433 Mbps on the 5 GHz band are ideal for lag-free HD streaming and online gaming.
